I've used Faber Castell art supplies for many years, they're always wonderful. After seeing a bit on the company and it's treatment of the people who work to make these fantastic products, I've had my eye out for opportunities to patronize them. When I saw the Ondoro at Paradise Pens in Dallas, TX, I had a feeling I might have stumbled on a perfect opportunity.

A beautiful tool
I've been happy with my Lamy Safaris for years now, and I'm not really in the market to switch. After all, it took 100's of test pens before I settled on the Lamy. But the look of the Ondoro by FC, was so striking I actually did a double-take as it looked like my #vittoriomartini lead holder we picked up at #dittagpoggi a few years ago.
The #lamy is wonderful and amazing and will stay active in my stable, but so far, the #ondoro has surpassed it in deftness and reaction on some of the rougher papers I like to draw on.

I'm currently drawing with Noodler's bulletproof black ink. Michael at Paradise pens suggested I clean the pen after each use with this ink. I scoffed and will try cleaning once a week, adjusting to more frequent intervals if necessary.
