It's an amazing sculpture. Just beautiful. It's one of those things that I don't think will ever be as wonderful as it is right now. Deep Ellum seems to have experienced some kind of transformative experience. It's yuppish-feeling now? Which is kind of an improvement over the throat-slasher phase it went through over the last 5 or so years.
The Traveling Man - Go see him, read the mythology and have fun.
To the point, I took a few tangible happinesses down to meet him. Monkey stayed. I left him perched on a guard rail next to the Dart Light rail. I'll check on him from time to time, but I don't expect that he'll be there long.
