I've been a fan of Firefly since it first aired, like a lot of nerds. The tropes that Whedon employed and turned on their heads proved endlessly entertaining and I always wondered what Han Solo would have turned out like if the rebellion hadn't discovered him. I love any bit of stirrings when it comes to the crew of Serenity and when Fox started sending Cease and Desist letters to crafstpeople who were hand-making these hats (from an unaired episode of the series) I was both delighted and disappointed. On one had, leave the little folks alone. On the other: YOU EMPOWER WHAT YOU FIGHT. So, clobber away Fox, you're giving our little series a great shot in the arm.
