This started as a quick animation inspired by the Mr Smile character in Fran Krause's Mister Smile. The idea of printing out or manufacturing happiness seemed like a fun idea but also a bit idiosyncratic. So, there's a bunch of these little bits and rather than just do quick deforms in After Effects, I have slowly been polishing each character. SO, what was one 10 second #animateeveryday effort has turned into 40+ daily animations that will combine to something larger. Here are a few:
