Angie (my lovely wife) wants to trip to Galveston before the oil destroys their shores... I think it's a great idea. Finding time, that's the real trick. This drawing was from a quote a diver stated in an interview about the impact the crude is having. The paisley? Just a beautiful design on someone's sleeve (drawn during a meeting).

A few months back we had the wonderful opportunity to see Phil Nicklen speak at a lecture here in Dallas. A long-time NatGeo contributor (photos and writing) he was inspirational and educational. He LOVES the cold, in fact, he only shoots (primarily) in the arctic and the antarctic. Did I mention we almost moved to antarctica for a season about 10 years ago? Angie did not like that idea. In hindsight, I almost agree.

I love this quote: If you start with Awesome, You've got nowhere to go. It was made in reference to a filmmaker's inability to slow any part of his film down to let the audience breath. He starts big and never stops.

Ain't he cute? He's ready for the pool.

Random Siggraph people, from like 2003.

Finally, just some fun old drawings, I don't even remember half of these.
