This just leave me speechless. I'm often amazed at creation and the forms it takes.
It never ceases to amaze me that humans so easily assume something so difficult and so complex could happen by accident, without design. It's no different than a fractal algorithm to me. Fractal algorithm's need someone to write them. I'm a 3d modeler and animator by trade and believe me, recreated man made objects are EASY by comparison. Organic structure is so incredibly complex, so dense, so unbelievably diverse, there's absolutely no way it happened by accident. Imagine finding a rolex in the desert and assuming it just evolved.
Sorry to digress, I take issue with the title of this program however. Still a cool video though.
If you read up a bit on the cave, it's quite an amazing place. It was formed under amazing heat (135º f) and submerged in a toxic chemical bath that dissolved gypsum (sheetrock) into these huge and beautiful structures. The heat and the chemicals come from a volcanic lava bed deep below the cave. The lava flows deposit valuable minerals such as silver, gold, lead and zinc as well as gypsum crystals. As the Naica mining company lowered the water table in order to extract more of the valuable minerals, they discovered this cave about a 1000 feet below ground.
The wonder of creation is astounding.
