This was a total hiatus day from my regular life. I spent the whole day drawing in the woods.

Hmmmm. I haven't read this page since I created it in November 2010. Transcription:
These are the moments that make the burning bush. This afternoon, I have shirked all of my earthly responsibilities to wander, mesmerized through the woods. Not lost exactly, but certainly away from prying eyes and listening ears. My reflections are regarding the world and what’s missing. I think about the Jim Thorpe workshop and what ways it changed me. I am happy, I am happy, I am happy. My sketch is more crawl than sketch. No one stops to check their pulse. Life converts energy to matter thereby increase the mass of planet Earth day after day. It may not add up to much in the short term, but what about over the course of 1 million years? I do not wish for others to count on me. So to wander is to see life much, much s-l-o-w-ly. Wow, I am so focused (relaxed?) that the sudden buzz of my cell phone makes me jump. Though my books are meant to be private, I think they are so rare that people cannot resist the desire to look and see what treasure (or trash) they might actually hold. Jimmy was mr sensitive last night when we were talking about people... he decides to pull out the ol’ so, how do YOU make pot roast? It sounded a little arrogant. My wife bailed on me... I was looking forward to seeing her. But now, no chance, she’s going from WF to workin FW. That’s crazy. Wichita Falls has the opposite Initials from Fort Worth... which I ALWAYS mistype as forth worth. The winter sun is very strange indeed... I left home this morning & It looked like morning then suddently @ about two it went from seeming like am to late afternoon. Now, the day is done... no noon light. Here’s a strange observance for you.. straight people (heterosexual couples) no longer get married, preferring instead to just live together. Homosexuals meanwhile have a passionate desire to marry.

I think I have actually posted this before... but I realized that when I go to the park and draw, I always always always see trash. So, I decided that from now on, I would make it a subject each time. I haven't drawn garbage since though.
