Hi gang! Long time no post... things on the job have been in-sane... to the tune of 55 hour of of over time last pay-period, plus an annual convention, plus a visiting speaker in our congregation... overload is the appropriate term I believe.
We did have a down day today, so I got an old sketchbook scanned and thought I would start posting the pages here. I usually post my entire books on flickr, as I will this one, but there's something fun about publishing here, in an organized sense with a nicely designed holder (sorry flickr, you're kind of ugly).
This book, number 30 is entitled Mal - My Bad Year and in fact only encompasses about 3 months that were unusually laden with depression and some bad decision-making which is why it got the title it did. That doesn't mean that it is 68 spreads of poor me. In fact, this is some of my favorite and most delightful work. Thus, I introduce: Episode 001. I'll post 3 or 4 pages each day through the rest of the month.
