When I started out on the path of 100 Turtles, I failed to consider some of the ancillary aspects of making 100 pieces of art. The conceptualizing, finding paper (all of the turtles are of hand-made paper), photography, retouching that photography, posting the photos and so on. That doesn't begin to account for the poster designs that Angie is going to produce for the project, or the book that swirling around the conceptual ether. In other words, there's a lot of work to do here. This isn't a complaint, merely and observation and a realization. 100 Turtles is the single biggest creative endeavor that I've ever undertaken. One can only assume the journey is the destination and that there will be more to learn in the doing that can be expected.
