I think Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets, G-Force) was my first completely absorbing fanboy experience. I would run home from school, skipping the bus ride, just to catch the show from the beginning. My favorite part was the transformation of their jet into a flaming pheonix. It took me until I was an adult to learn that each of their names (as the American-version, G-Force) were Mark, Princes, Keyop, Tiny and Jason. There's talk of making a film, but I'm not too sure that's a good idea. I like my memories just the way they are.
