Tracing has, for me, always been relegated to the realm of not-to-do. What I have learned though, is that in order to take a drawing from a rough idea to finished illustration, it must be reworked and reworked to refine it. Enter tracing. It allows for quick and effective revisions that eliminate flaws and introduce refined edits that previous versions missed.
I'm finding that more and more I am questioning my place in the world. What is my role? Am I an artist? A minister? A husband? 3d guy? Painter? What will I be doing in 20 years?
