What can one say about Cafe DuMonde? World famous yes, but not in the awesome way that most things are world-famous. Nearly all of the wait-staff is foreign-born and speak with thick accents. They only server coffee, bad soda and these weird deep-fried donut things covered in powdered sugar. In the middle of the night, you will find an equal mix of interested sight-seers and drunks trying to recover enough of their senses to go and get drunk some more. The friendliest folks were the vietnamese and the russians. The french and the scandanavians... not so much.

Ruby Booby, is some kind of weird bar-hopping event. Everyone dresses up in red nighties. I mean EVERYONE!! Men, women, beautiful, not-so-beautiful. It's a weird and disconcerting sight to say theleast, which is why you get a drawing of the 24 karat cowboy (a black man dressed completely ingold clothes and covered in gold paint), a typical NOLA window ledge and a fat guy eating pizza.

Opposite from the fat guy and the NOLA windows was this roughly-dressed gentleman playing classical music on his violin. It was beautiful and the kind of dichotomy one does not often see. The horse head posts were cool too.

In the middle of the afternoon, on a street with nearly no tourists, sat frankie. Frankie had snug fitting, green denim jeans on and was playing his electric guitar with a woefully undersized and underpowered amplifier. While not the next Edge, he was not bad and quite entertaining just in setting alone.

Ahhhh, NOLA, you never disappoint when it comes to interesting visuals.
