So, it seems to me that an ideal t-shirt, guerilla ad campaign would be for the fact that everyone is watching everything now. Silly antics, stupid stunts, private video, even crimes are all broadcast on YouTube these days. There is no privacy, but not in the sense that Orwell expected.
Speaking of guerilla campaigns, here's a little drawing I did of Mr Shepperd Fairey. The supposed king of 'urban art'. Though these days, like most everything that's given a chance, monies are to be made so selling out, it just can't be helped. I'd have sold out too. This is from a photo of him on trial for 'tagging' in Boston to advertise for a big show of his. Oh, and a quick note that at the time I was reading, "Guernica's War" a nice biographic tale about Picasso's famous painting Guernica, why he painted it and the sordid political connections it had. Even today it continues to be a focus of political tension. It's a good read and really gives some insight into the painters thinking process.
